What makes sense on the POS isn’t always the best order on KDS.
Help your kitchen staff by showing the accurate prep option choice sequence on KDS, e.g. certain meats must be added last.
Give Options and Option Choices numbers. Each number represents a priority.
HIGH: 1, 2, 3, ...
DEFAULT
LOW: -1, -2, -3, ...
Example
You want certain meats to show at the bottom of the order on KDS to go last on the pizza. In Web Admin set up Prep Option Choice Sorting for those meats:
Meats -- Italian Sausage = -1
Meats -- Pepperoni = -3

Important:
These sorting priorities only affect the display on the KDS and Prep views. Regular Option/Choice sorting for display and order entry is handled on the Item & Options page.
