Upsell


Recommend Options to bring additional value to customers while boosting your revenue. Grant a little discount to motivate the customer.




Setup Upsell rules in WebAdmin

Set up as many Active Upsell rules as you wish for any Item on your menu. 

Create Rules on HQ level to sync them to all franchise stores or set up only locally available Upsell recommendations at a store Web Admin page.



Active Upsell Rules. Configure and Add Rule

WebAdmin (HQ or individual store level) > Promotion > Active Upsell

  1. Customise the Rules Name (will appear on receipt) and POS / Mobile Message

  2. Required: Select at least one item (i.e. CG Bread) to configure your Upsell Rule

  3. Required: Define the Item option (e.g. Size) & choice (Regular) that will trigger the Upsell and the
    recommended upsell choice (Large)

  4. Required: “with discount”: reduce the price of recommended option choices. A fixed amount in ¢ is
    deducted from the price per unit of the recommended option choice (e.g. ¢50). 


Ordering a Regular CG Bread will trigger an upsell recommendation to make it Large for only ¢50 (instead of ¢100).



Active Upsell Rules. Edit Rule

Customise already configured Rules by editing Name, POS or Mobile Text and enabling/disabling the Rule for POS and Mobile.

5. You have configured many Upsell Rules already? Use Search to easily find specific Rules.


6. Once a rule was added, you can edit Name, POS Text, Mobile Text and enable/disable the rule for POS or Mobile.


7. Simply click the Text that you want to update, e.g. POS Text. POS Text opens in a separate window.          Customise the text and click the checkmark.

8. Don’t forget to “Push Updates to Devices”!

Late Timer

Optimize your business by setting Performance Standards for prepping orders.


This is a local store setting. In the Web Admin for a store set-up Pre Times, then on the KDS enable the "Late Timer". 

Try it out - you will see a little bar starts marching across the order on the KDS and turns red when you've used up all your allotted time.


1. Set Timing Standards in Web Admin


Local Store Web Admin > Food&Drinks > Prep Times



2. KDS "Late Timer"


Enable "Late Timer" on your KDS devices. 

Tap the Hamburger menu on a KDS, then select "Late Timer" and set it active. 

Watch little bars marching across the orders.

2 step claim (Kitchen Display System)

Enable KDS Two-Step Claim in Web Admin for every store individually. Tap Item to claim. Second tap signifies Item is prepared.


Go to local store Web Admin > Touchpoint PRO > POS Settings > "Enable KDS Two-Step Claim"

Eat In/Take Out. Choose your default Service Type

This is a local setting, not a global one and therefore it's set up individually from each store.


Go to local Stores Web Admin > Operations > TouchpointPro > POS Settings > "Default Service To Take Out (else Is Dine In)"
