Quickwords


Add customer details to orders even quicker with Quickwords for Linebusters. A floating screen pops at the start of every LineBuster order, allowing you to quickly add information that will make it easy to assign the order to a car (eg. car colour and type).


Close = Will NOT start order

Start = Will start order when tapped


Start Order (top right):

Do note that order will not appear in KDS until first item is added. But with multiple line busters, this order's sequence in the KDS queue has been reserved.


If no items are added for 90 seconds, the order will auto-cancel and the Quickwords screen will be displayed.


Re-activates QuickWords screen by tapping Add Detail (in top right corner).

Select which window (register) to send order to

Take and order, send it to the "Left window" and choose payment type "Unpaid" because the customer wants to pay cash at the window.

Placeholder Function

The placeholder function comes handy when double running a line of cars. 


To put the order into the queue already, before the next car starts the order with Linebuster 2, simply add the "Placeholder" Item. Now you have all the time you need to take the customers order.


Note: Using Quickwords makes the Placeholder obsolete. Adding Car details in Quickwords starts the order already and puts in the queue.

Accepting Payment as Linebuster (Credit Card, Unpaid, etc)

Linebusters usually process Credit Card of Gift Card payments but do do not collect cash payments. 


For Cash payments simply send the order "Unpaid" to the pickup window (register) where the cashier will collect the cash payment.

Collecting Payment as the Window Person for orders placed by Linebuster


Cashier taps the "Line Busting Orders" tab (top left), chooses an Order sent by the Linebuster and tabs "collect" to then processes the payment.

Resuming a “Skipped Car” order and adding items to it


If a customer doesn't want to place an order with the runner, add a 'skipped car' item.


Find the Item in Misc > Skipped Car 



Linebuster: Add "Skipped Car" Order


Window presses ‘Linebusting Orders’ and taps the order to resume it. Tap “<” button to add items.



Cashier: Resume Skipped Car Order



Position in line is “held” on KDS.
