With Card Connect as your processor, when your registers set to Authorization (instead of "Sale"), it is easy can add tips to orders after the order has been delivered to the customer and the order is 'closed'.
To do this, follow these easy steps.
On the iPad, open the hamburger menu, tap on Manager and enter a manager PIN
Find the order you wish to adjust and add the additional gratuity
When you press the "Set Gratuity" button, the tip is saved and you receive a green "Authorization adjusted" notice
Now when you view the order, the $5.00 adjusted tip has been added.
When the batch runs, the tip amount will process.
